Margarite Ellen Williamson 93 of Clinton, IL passed away 1:10 A.M. June 24, 2024 at Timber Creek Village Assisted Living of Lincoln, Lincoln, IL.

Services will be 11 AM, Friday, June 28, 2024 at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Ernie Harvey, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Clinton, IL. Visitation will be 10-11 AM, Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the New Horizon Christian Church of Heyworth, IL.

Margarite was born September 1, 1930 in Clinton, IL the daughter of Frank R. and Ida Catherine (Farnsworth) Brewer. She married Charles Williamson October 16, 1951 in Clinton, IL. He passed away November 4, 2005.

Survivors include her children, Pam (Robert) Foster, Clinton, IL; Richard (Jeannie) Williamson, Clinton, IL; Judith (Mike) Payne, Gwinn, MI; Steve (Peggy) Williamson, Heyworth, IL, 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, and brother, Joe (Shelley) Brewer, Lockhart, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, and two brothers.

Margarite worked for the phone company as a switchboard operator in Clinton.
