Jimmy L. Wogoman 80 of Maroa, IL passed away 11 A.M. May 24, 2024 at his family residence, Maroa, Il.
Graveside Services with Military Honors will be 11 AM, Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Boiling Springs Cemetery, Decatur, IL with Scott Marsh officiating. Calvert Funeral Home, Maroa, IL is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be directed to the Maroa Fire Department.
Jimmy was born January 24, 1944 in Brookville, OH the son of Russell and Beulah (Gephart) Wogoman, Sr. He married Pamela S. Stelzriede May 1, 1993 in Decatur, IL.
Survivors include his wife, Pam S. Wogoman, Maroa, IL; children: Allison Wogoman, Maroa, IL; Stephanie (Mike) Cutright, Casey, IL; and Stacy Mulicka, Ft. Myers, FL; three grandchildren: and siblings: Beverly Spitler, West Alexandria, OH; Paul (Deb) Wogoman, Eaton, OH; Barbara Jackson, Orlando, FL; Donna (Noel) Landis, Brookville, OH; and Susie (Teddy) Landis, Eaton, OH.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jerry Wogoman and Russell Wogoman, Jr.
Jimmy was a U.S. Airforce veteran serving four years. He had several careers before retiring from ADM as a computer operator. Jimmy enjoyed attending car shows, coffee at the Community Center in Argenta, fishing, mowing his lawn as well as being an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. Everyone that knew him said Jimmy always had a story. Jimmy was an EMT which inspired his daughter, Allison, to pursue a career as a Firefighter. Most of all, Jimmy enjoyed spending time with his family and attending Allison’s sporting events and her extracurricular activities. |
