Terence "Terry" Fraser, 79, of Canton, Ohio passed away following an extended illness on May 16, 2024. Terry was born on June 29, 1944, Georgetown, Illinois to the late Evan Fraser and Norma Hagerman.
Terry was a U.S. Airways pilot for 37 years, he retired in 2004. Terry's true passion was flying. He enjoyed snowmobiling, boating, fishing, and working on computers. Terry will be remembered for his sense of humor and his big heart. He was always willing to help out when someone was in need and put a smile on their face. He was very into politics, for over 13 years, he and his wife Anita volunteered and participated with the GOP in Columbiana, Mahoning, and Trumbull counties. Terry loved animals and nature, especially the snow. His hobby for photography will be missed by family and friends. Terry was one of a kind, and he will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Fraser and Rodney Hagerman.
Terry is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Anita Fraser; children, Robin Fraser and Sean Fraser of Champaign, Illinois; brother, Richard (Karen) Fraser of Georgetown, Illinois; and 3 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 AM, Friday, May 31, 2024 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Rev. Paul Stroup officiating. Burial will follow at Mausoleum Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL. Visitation will be 10 – 11 AM, Friday at the funeral home.
On what would have been his 80th birthday, June 29th, 2024, the family will be hosting a Celebration of Life event, with details pending.
