Philip A. Chesnek, 89, of Clinton, IL passed away 8:55 A.M. April 21, 2024 at his family residence, Clinton, IL.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM, Monday, April 29, 2024 at St. John’s Catholic Church, Clinton, IL with Fr. Thomas R. Szydlik, Celebrant followed by Military Honors. There will be no visitation. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the Clinton YMCA.

Philip was born April 7, 1935 in Casner Twp., IL the son of Frank A. and Helen T. (Lance) Chesnek, Jr.  He married Catherine Mullins July 11, 1959 at St. John’s Catholic Church, Clinton, IL. She passed away August 29, 2022.

Survivors include a host of friends from the church and community.

Philip was preceded in death by his parents.
