Thomas Lynn Wilson, 77, of Decatur, IL passed away 6:30 A.M. March 2, 2024 surrounded by family at his residence, Decatur, Il.

Services will be 10 A.M. Friday, March 8, 2024 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Pastor Wray Offermann officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Clinton, IL.  Visitation will be 5 – 7 PM Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Masonic Services at 7 PM.

Memorials may be directed to Shriners Childrens’ Hospital.

Tom was born  September 22, 1946 in Clinton, IL  the son of Zarda F. and Violet Maxine (Harrold) Wilson.  He married Brenda C. Taylor December 4, 1978 in Altamont, IL.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda C. Wilson, Decatur, IL; children:  Tammy Wilson, Decatur, IL; Angela Wilson, Decatur, IL; Corey (Kelli) Tolle, Old Monroe, MO; and Jennifer Tolle, Decatur, IL; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and sister, Susan (Michael E.) Reynolds, Foley, AL.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents.

Tom worked as an Electrical Supervisor at Norfolk and Southern Railroad for over 40 years and he also built several homes. He was a lifelong member of the Masonic Lodge.  Tom enjoyed collecting antique clocks.
