Stephen M. Brannan, 66, of Clinton, IL passed away 7:50 AM January 11, 2024 at his residence, Clinton, IL.

Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Pastor Nick Blacklidge officiating. Burial will follow at DeWitt Cemetery, DeWitt, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM- 11:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.

Stephen was born March 10, 1957 in DeWitt County, IL the son of John Leslie and Shirley Mae (Atteberry) Brannan. He married Deanna K. Pair April 8, 1977 in Clinton, IL.

Survivors include his wife, Deanna K. Brannan, Clinton, IL; children Gregory M. (Jeanine Meyer) Brannan, Champaign, IL, John D. (Amy) Brannan, Clinton, IL, Amanda S. (Jarad) Poole, Clinton, IL; six grandchildren, Billy, Tanner, Jameson, Cayden, Aaron, and Sadie; and siblings, Leslie Ann (Bill Scarcliff) Welch, Pekin, IL; Paula (Alex) Lukas, Clinton, IL; David Brannan, Clinton, IL; Mary Beth Landstrom, Beason, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Tom Welch.

Stephen retired from the City of Clinton Streets Department. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
