Mary Marie Necessary

Mary Marie Necessary, 90, of Clinton, Illinois, formerly of Heyworth, Illinois, passed away at 10:19 A.M. Friday, January 5, 2024, at Manor Court, Clinton, Illinois.

 

Her visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the Heyworth Christian Church.  A memorial service will follow at 12:00 P.M. with Candi Evans officiating.  Inurnment will be in Randolph Township Memorial Cemetery, Heyworth, Illinois.

 

Memorials may be made to the Heyworth Christian Church or Heyworth Ambulance Service.

 

Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home of Heyworth, Illinois, is assisting the family with arrangements.

 

Mary was born on August 31, 1933, in Saybrook, Illinois, a daughter of Lee and Lena (Warsaw) Nickrent. She married Harold Necessary on April 7, 1957, in Saybrook, Illinois. He passed away November 20, 2015.

 

She is survived by her three sons, Brad Necessary of McLean, Illinois, David Necessary of Clinton, Illinois, and Brian Necessary and Nilda Cruz-Otero of Bloomington, Illinois; four grandchildren, Derek (Gentry) Necessary, Jenna (Jason) Francis, Conner (Diana) Necessary, and Kaley Necessary; and two great-grandchildren, Malia and Laina Francis.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Necessary; parents, Lee and Lena Nickrent; two sisters, Ellen Bradd and Velma Adcock; and five brothers, Elmer, Clarence, Roy, Wilbur, and Bob Nickrent.

 

Mary graduated from the Mennonite School of Nursing in Bloomington, Illinois. She was a Registered Nurse and worked in the Emergency Room over 25 years at the Mennonite Hospital in Bloomington, Illinois. 

 

Mary was a member of the Heyworth Christian Church.
