Dorothy L. Kendall, 97 of Argenta, IL, passed away 8:05 A.M. January 3, 2024 at Imboden Creek, Decatur, IL.

Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, January 8, 2024 at the Bridge Church Fellowship, Argenta, IL. with Pastor Bob Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Friends Creek Cemetery, Argenta, IL. Visitation will be 9:00 - 11:00 AM at the church. The family has entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Argenta, IL. with arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the Bridge Church Fellowship Food Pantry, Argenta, IL.

Dorothy was born January 10, 1926 in Argenta, IL. the daughter of Noah G. and Nettie (Kaufman) Whisnant. She married Ardath C. Kendall April 19, 1946 in Argenta, IL. He passed away February 26, 2007.

Survivors include her sons, Dean (Martha) Kendall, Oakley, IL.; Ron (Rocci) Kendall, Joplin, Missouri; John (Karla) Kendall, Chatham, IL.; six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great- grandchild.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Delmar, Edward and her grandchild, Aaron.

Dorothy was a member of Bridge Church Fellowship, Argenta, IL and was a devoted homemaker to her family.
