Donald D. Bray 76 of Decatur, IL passed away 10:10 A.M. November 7, 2023 in rural Maroa, IL. 

Services will be 1 PM Friday, November 10, 2023 at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Pastor Scott Bons officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL with military honors. Visitation will be 11 AM until 1 PM Friday at the funeral home. The family requests casual attire be worn. 

Memorials may be directed to the VFW Post #99 of Decatur, IL.

Donald was born May 16, 1947 in Nancy, KY the son of John and Alma (Burton) Bray. He married Jacqueline M. Mitchell January 13, 1968 in Clinton, IL. She passed away July 7, 1995. He later married Brenda K. (Krall) Klukis February 23, 1996 in Decatur, IL. 

Survivors include his wife, Brenda K. Bray, Decatur, IL, children, John D. (Gail) Bray, Cerro Gordo, IL; James M. (Rhonda) Bray, Warrensburg, IL; stepdaughter, Stephanie D. Klukis, Oreana, IL, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, siblings, Sue (Mark) Smith, Eau Claire, WI; and Bruce (Sarah) Bray, Tampa, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. 

Donald was a US Army Veteran serving during Vietnam. He retired from Caterpillar after 38 ½ years. He enjoyed yardwork and was an avid motorcyclist. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially spoiling his grandchildren.
