Joyce Marie (Eaton) Fink 95 of Beason, Illinois passed away 3:00 P.M. October 26, 2023 at Lincoln Village, Lincoln, Il.

Private Family Services will be Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, Il. with Kevin Price and Marilyn Craig officiating. There will be no visitation. Private Family Graveside Services will be Monday, October 30, 2023 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL.

Memorials may be directed to the Beason Methodist Church.

Joyce was born to Ralph and Rosalie Marie Eaton on May 23, 1928 in Maroa, IL. She married Dale Morse Fink in Clinton, IL on February 22, 1947. They had two children, Marilyn Annette (Ron Craig) and Gregory Dale.  She had one grandson, Miles Hunter Craig (Angela) and two great grandchildren Piper and Hunter Craig.  Her parents, husband, son, sisters, Jolene (Myrle) Peacock and Donna (Merle) Weaver and brother, David Eaton (Tootie) all preceded her in death.  Also surviving are many beloved nieces and nephews.

Joyce graduated from Clinton High School in 1947.  She and Dale moved to his family farm in Beason in 1952.  She worked as a clerk at Werkman’s Grocery Store in Beason, a soil tester for Marquis Farm Supply in Clinton, receptionist and accountant for Western Implement Dealership in Beason, and Burwell Oil in Lincoln.  She helped manage the farm on her computer and enjoyed documenting genealogy on her computer.  She and her husband enjoyed being in a couple’s pinochle group with dear friends as well as a ladies pinochle group with several dear lady friends for many years.  She was a member of the Beason United Methodist Church and participated in many dinners and events at the church when her kids were growing up.  She was especially proud of her grandson Miles and loved being entertained by great grandchildren Piper and Hunter who called her GG.
