Burial at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield, IL with Military Honors will be at a later date. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with cremation rites.

Donald was born May 24, 1949 in Vandalia, IL the son of Harry and Ruth (Flynn) Benson.

Survivors include his children and his brother, Warren (Lisa) Benson, Vandalia, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
