Allen Lee Brewer 83 of Clinton, Illinois passed away 7:56 A.M. August 18, 2023 at his family residence, Clinton, Il.

Services will be 11 AM, Monday, August 21, 2023 at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Pastor Nick Blacklidge officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL. Visitation will be 10-11 AM, Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the Allen Brewer Memorial Fund.

Allen was born June 23, 1940 in Heyworth, Illinois the son of William Howard and Lela Marie (Lovell) Brewer. He married Marilyn J. Moody October 9, 1960 in Clinton, IL.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn J. Brewer, Clinton, IL; children:  Bobby (Marsha) Brewer, Clinton, IL; Duane Brewer, Clinton, IL; Tammy Brewer, Bloomington, IL; Eddie Brewer, Clinton, IL; and Jon Brewer, Clinton, IL; four grandchildren; and sister, Shirley (Dick) Coppenbarger, Decatur, IL.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and one brother.

Allen worked for Thrall Car Company in the Sand Blasting Dept. He enjoyed fishing and especially loved spending time with his family and adored his grandchildren.
