Betty Joann Ruble 83 of Clinton, IL passed away 11:46 PM June 11, 2023 at the Warner Hospital and Health Services, Clinton, IL.

 

Graveside services will be 2 PM Friday, June 16, 2023 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL with Ernie Harvey, Jr. officiating. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home with arrangements.

 

Memorials may be directed to American Lung Association.

 

Betty was born August 16, 1939 in Waynesville, IL the daughter of Joseph Darreld and Dorothy (Sympson) McKinzey. She married George Edwin Ruble August 16, 1962 in Mt. Zion, IL. He passed away April 27, 1977.

 

Survivors include her children, Jeannette Ruble, Altus, OK; Bonnie Ruble, Altus, OK; Barbara Ruble, Altus, OK, one granddaughter, 3 great grandchildren, siblings, Bev (John) Reid, Clinton, IL; Marjorie (Richard) Hunt, Clinton, IL; Darrell (Charlene) McKinzey, Clinton, IL; and Lois (Mike) Bray, Clinton, IL.

 

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Wayne McKinzey.

 

Betty enjoyed cooking, puzzles, and reading. She will be greatly missed by her siblings.
