Wendy A. Hieronymus, 55, of Clinton, IL passed away 6:15 A.M. May 4, 2023 at her family residence, Clinton, IL.

Graveside Services will be 11:30 AM, Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL. with Ernie Harvey, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be 10 – 11 AM, Tuesday at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL.

 Memorials may be directed to the Wendy A. Hieronymus Memorial Fund.

Wendy was born March 5, 1968 in Clinton, IL the daughter of James E. Staton and Rani (Crang). She married Tony R. Hieronymus June 5, 1999 in Weldon Springs.

Survivors include her husband, Tony R. Hieronymus, Clinton, IL.; mother, Rani Crang, Clinton, IL.; stepchildren:  Stephani (Donny) Braun, Heyworth, IL; Nicole (Nathan) Short, Clinton, IL; and Brandon Hieronymus, Clinton, IL; step-grandchildren:  Roman Short, Ollie Hieronymus, Justin Braun, and Vivian Short; and sister, Jamee (Chuck) Jester, Kenosha, WI; and aunts, Candy Crang, Kenney, IL and Cathy Clark, Kenney, IL.

Wendy was preceded in death by her father, beloved son, Blake E. Staton, and sister, Teresa Ann “Teri” Crang.

Wendy graduated from Clinton High School in 1987.  She was very proud of her alma mater and attended as many high school sporting events as she could.  Wendy was an active member of the community.  She was involved with the Clinton Farmer’s Market and attended many community events including May Days, Apple ‘n Pork, and every parade.

Wendy loved her friends and family dearly and loved being a wife, mother, and grandma.
