Teresa K. Short, 59, of Kenney, IL passed away Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 9:07 AM at Carle BroMenn Medical Center, Normal, IL.

A Celebration of Teresa’s Life will be at a later date.  Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL assisted the family with cremation rites.

Memorials may be directed to the Teresa Short Memorial Fund.

Teresa was born April 18, 1963 in Clinton, IL the daughter of Patsy (Clary) Barclay. She married Curt Short August 16, 1989 in Lane, IL.

Survivors include her husband, Curt Short, Kenney, IL;  children:  Krystal Workman, Maroa, IL and KayLynn Rybolt, Kenney, IL; 4 grandchildren:  Cadence Rybolt, Landon Rybolt, Trey Buggar, and Harlee Buggar; siblings:  Jerry (Kim) Turner, Braidwood, IL; Karen (Rick) Campbell, Decatur, IL; Danny Barclay, Kenny, IL; and Bobbi (Rod) Morse, Kenney, IL.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Teresa was known as a “jack-of-all-trades”.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, but she especially loved being with her grandchildren.
