Phyllis Jean Ives, 97, of Clinton, IL passed away 5:09 A.M. January 2, 2023 at Hickory Point Christian Village, Forsyth, IL.

Private Family Graveside Services will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL with Sonja Songer, Chaplain Hickory Point Christian Village, officiating. The family Entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with arrangements.

Phyllis was born May 10, 1925 in Beloit, WI. She was the daughter of Stennett and Adelaide (Tuttle) Hulburt. She married Karl Kimble Ives May 4, 1946 in Freeport, IL. He passed away March 5, 2017.

Phyllis is survived by one daughter, Karla Jean Ives, Sullivan, IL; one grandson, Larry E. (Jessica) Stewart III, Blain, PA; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson, and special nieces and nephew.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Steven Kimble Ives, brother, Jim Hulburt, and one nephew.

Phyllis was a member of the Clinton Presbyterian Church for over 50 years. P.E.O.  Chapter B for over 60 years. She was a past member of the Clinton Country Club and Elks. She enjoyed knitting, painting and animals. Phyllis and her husband travelled to many countries and met wonderful friends
