Robert "Butch" L. Logan

Atlanta – Robert “Butch” L. Logan, 76, of Lincoln, passed away at his home on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, with his wife, Linda, by his side.


Robert Lewis Logan was born November 22,1946, in Chillicothe, the son of Walter “Kayo” L. and Margaret “Maggie” C. Dempsey Logan. He was united in marriage to Linda K. Patterson on July 4, 2001. She survives.

Cremation Rites have been accorded. A Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; children: Greg Logan, Eric Logan, Kevin (Karri) Eimer, and A.C. (Tay) Hutchcraft; two sisters: Judy Haseley and Jo (Don) Bode; seven grandchildren: Cole Logan, Kaleb (Turkessa) Eimer, Aleigha Hutchcraft, Cameron Hutchcraft, Braxton Hutchcraft, Emmersyn Hutchcraft, and Nathaniel Hutchcraft; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother: Kenneth “Kenn” D. Logan; one brother-in-law: Lynn Haseley; mother-in-law, Ramona “Babe” Veff; father-in-law, Glenn Veff; and one niece: Jennifer Bode.

Robert was a graduate of Lincoln Community High School. He retired from Logan Correctional Facility where he worked as a Correctional Officer. He enjoyed fishing, reading, and shooting pool. He belonged to the American Poolplayers Association (APA). Butch loved being on the beach and spending time in Florida with his wife. He belonged to Moose Lodge #1454 in Bonita Springs.

Memorials may be made to Atlanta Rescue Squad.
