On June 23, 2022 our Lord and Savior welcomed Randie L Meade into the gates of Heaven. 

 

Randie was born in Maroa, Illinois to Ronald and Virginia Garfoot.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Ronda & Rita, her ex-husband & friend Sam Meade, her close friends Georgia and Yvetta and her cherished furr baby Callie. 

 

She is survived by her sister Rae Ann Sperry (Clinton, Il.), her children Sandy Meade (Cicero, In.), Steve Meade (Clinton, Il), Sharon Ceniceros Meade (Clinton, Il) and one grandson, Damian Ceniceros Meade (San Diego, Ca).

 

Randie loved to laugh, do puzzles, and listen to her favorite band Home Free.  Her most cherished time was just spending time with her family, going out to lunch, and playing cards (yes, she cheated but in a way that made you always smile). The minute you came into her life you became family and she would tell everyone to call her mom.

 

She worked for the United State Postal Service in Springfield for over 30 years. She was a lifelong member of the Rebecca Oddfellows Lodge.

 

Arrangements will be handled by Calvert Funeral Homes of Clinton, IL.  The family will be having a private service.

 

In Lieu of flowers Memorials may be directed to Second Chance Pets of Clinton Illinois in her and Callie’s name.
