Anna “Ann” Norene Perring, 72 of Clinton, IL passed away 8:19 AM April 13, 2022 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, IL.

 

Services will be 11 AM, Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Pastor John Roberson officiating. Burial will follow at DeWitt Cemetery, DeWitt, IL. Visitation will be 9 – 11 AM, Saturday at the funeral home.

 

Memorials may be directed to The National Kidney Foundation.

 

Ann was born February 17, 1950 in Lilly, IL the daughter of John and Eva (Mitchell) Gordon. She married Walter William “Butch” Perring February 14, 1970 in Heyworth, IL.

 

Survivors include her husband, Walter William “Butch” Perring, Clinton, IL, children, Joe (Dawn) Perring, Bloomington, IL; and Julie (Troy) Gyuran, Alta Vista, KS, eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; Don (Rachel) Aldridge, Bloomington, IL – whom she treated as their children; and one brother, Larry (Kathy) Gordon, Normal, IL.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, William N. “Bill” Perring, and 12 siblings.

 

Ann was a member of the First Baptist Church, Clinton, IL.  She enjoyed the “old-time” Gospel hymns.  Most of all, Ann loved spending time at church and with her family.  She had an infectious smile that would light up a room.
