Paul Edward Fabris 84 of Clinton, Illinois passed away 1:13 PM November 17, 2021 at his family residence, Clinton, Il.

 

Services will be 11 AM, Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Jim Kilson and Chaplain Ellen Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL. Visitation will be 10 – 11 AM, Saturday at the funeral home.

Paul was born March 2, 1937 in Creston, IL the son of John and Vera (Riddell) Fabris. He married Carol Ann Meteer August 27, 1961.. She passed away January 18, 2013.

 

Survivors include his children, Donald E. (Julie) Fabris, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin; Larry L. (Regina) Fabris, Clinton, Il.; 4 grandchildren: Isaac and Sarah Fabris, Clinton, IL; and Logan and Lauren Fabris, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin; brother, Robert (Betsy) Fabris, La Moille, IL; and half-sister, Susie Davidson.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, John; and one half-brother, Wendell Davidson.

 

Paul was a graduate of Jacksonville Illinois School for the Deaf.  He worked at the Clinton Daily Journal from 1981until 2000.  He enjoyed woodworking.
