Jacob Wayne Black, 44 of Oreana, IL passed away 7:00 PM September 16, 2021 at his home in Oreana, IL.

 

No services are planned at this time. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Argenta, IL with cremation rites.

Jacob was born October 9, 1976 in Gettysburg, PA the son of Larry and Joyce Marie (Jones) Black.

 

Survivors include his father, Larry Black, Oreana, IL and step-sister, Tracey Griffith,  Ephratea, PA.

 

He was preceded in death by his mother and one brother, Michael Griffith.

 

Jake held various jobs including working at a potato chip factory, pre-cast concrete, and auto detailing.  He enjoyed dogs, listening to music, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and old cars.
