Mabel Rosine Rich 96 of Clinton, Illinois passed away 4:35 A.M. August 23, 2021 at Park Pointe Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Morris, Il.

 

Services will be 2 PM, Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Pastor Nick Blacklidge officiating. Burial will follow at Willmore Cemetery, Clinton, IL. Visitation will be 1 – 2 PM, Friday at the funeral home.

 

Memorials may be directed to The Clinton Assembly of God Church or The DeWitt County Friendship Center.

 

Mabel was born April 28, 1925 in Birkbeck, IL the daughter of Nathan and Mary Ona (Spencer) Welch. She married Gilbert T. Manigan September 16, 1942 in Rockford, IL. He passed away March 17, 1999. She later married Jim Rich April 9, 2005 in Clinton, IL. He passed away August 14, 2018.

 

She is survived by her son, Tom (Cindy) Manigan, Minooka, IL; three grandchildren,  seven great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren, and brother, Merle Welch, Clinton, IL.

 

Mabel was preceded in death by her daughter, Anna Stepp; granddaughter, Chele Spears; three brothers and three sisters.

 

Mabel and Gilbert owned and operated the Gold-N-Rise Donut Shop in Clinton.
