Michael Wayne Angel 62 of Farmer City, IL passed away 11:49 A.M. August 19, 2021, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Thursday September 2, 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL with Ernie Harvey, Jr. officiating.  Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL assisted the family with arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to Michael Wayne Angel Memorial Fund.

Michael was born May 27, 1959, in Clinton, IL the son of Earl Lee and Betty Lucille (Works) Angel.

Survivors include his partner, Maddie Brady, Farmer City, IL; children, Tracy Renee (Michael) France, Wesley Chapel, FL, Justin Michael Angel, Kingman, AZ; grandchildren, Savannah Angel, Michael France, Jr., Tyson France; stepson, Matt Miller, Bloomington, IL; step grandchildren, McKenna Miller, Anna Miller, E’va Miller all of Champaign, IL; Maddie’s daughter, Christina Huff, Lincoln, IL and her daughter, Alyssa Keator, Lincoln, IL; siblings, Linda Marie (Angel) (Brian) Diskin, Fithian, IL; Ricky Lee (Beverly) Angel, Clinton, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mike attended Clinton High School. He worked for Revere Copper & Brass for 22 years then as a meat cutter at IGA in Farmer City. He loved the outdoors, hiking and rodeos. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with family.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses, doctors, and chaplain on the COVID floor at Carle Foundation Hospital.
