Patricia J. Butler, 81, of Clinton, IL passed away at 8:58 AM Thursday May 20, 2021 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, IL.

 

Services will be 11 AM, Monday, May 24, 2021 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Ernie Harvey, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL. Visitation will be 10 – 11 AM, Monday at the funeral home.  The family requests face masks worn at the funeral home.

 

Memorials may be directed to the Clinton Assembly of God Church.

 

Patricia was born April 7, 1940 in Lane, IL the daughter of Darrell L. and Fleta (Duff) Moody. She married Joseph Earl Butler December 21, 1958 in Clinton, IL. He passed away December 17, 2009.

 

Survivors include her children, Kimberlin (Tim) Hoyt, Clinton, IL; Timothy (Jessie) Butler, Chestnut, IL; Pamela Butler, Clinton, IL; Mark (Kelly) Butler, Bloomington, IL; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren on the way; siblings:  Carolyn Nobles, Clinton, IL; Marilyn (Allen) Brewer, Clinton, IL; and Ronald (Sandra) Moody, Bloomington, IL.

 

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother, Donald Moody; and good friends, Merv and Peg Thompson.

 

Patricia was a member of the Clinton Assembly of God Church.  She was “Mama” to many.
