Robert L. O’Dea, Sr.. 90 of Clinton, Illinois passed away 8:59 A.M. September 22, 2020 at Generations of Lincoln, Lincoln, Il.

 

Services will be 2 PM, Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL, with Steve Soice officiating.  Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL.  Visitation will be 1 – 2 PM, Saturday at the funeral home.

 

Memorials may be directed to the Donor’s choice.

 

Robert was born January 14, 1930 in Clinton, IL the son of Dennis and Ila (Riddle) O’Dea. He married Charlotte Pendleton on September 12, 1954 in Heyworth, IL.

 

Survivors include his wife; Charlotte O’Dea, Clinton, IL; son, Robert L. O’Dea, Jr., Clinton, IL; grandsons, Robert Kyle O’Dea, Clinton, IL and Mark Bradley Moore, Simpsonville, S.C.; and great-grandchildren, Olivia Grace Moore and Rylan Ozias Moore, Simpsonville, S.C.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

 

Robert retired from Illinois Central Railroad as a Brakeman after 26 years of service.  He also farmed in Wapella and Hallsville.
