Sarah A. Hammer, 70 of Argenta, IL passed away 11:15 PM June 19, 2020 at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL.

Graveside services will be 1 PM Monday, June 29, 2020 at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield, IL. There will be no visitation. Calvert Funeral Home, Argenta, IL is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to American Cancer Society.

Sarah was born September 21, 1949 in Vincennes, Indiana the daughter of Robert William and Gladys Lavone (Robinson) Donaldson. She married William David Hammer May 14, 2004 in Decatur, IL. He passed away March 12, 2020.

Survivors include children, Betty (Jim) Morrison, Clinton, IL; Jennifer (Devon) Maybon; Decatur, IL; Charity (Shannon) Slater, Decatur, IL; and Misty Hammer, Dalton City, IL; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, and brother, David Lee Donaldson, Evansville, IN.

Sarah had worked at Emerald Glen of Olney, Il. as a C.N.A. retiring after 40 years in 2003.
