Donald A. Jackson, 98, of Clinton, IL passed away 12:15 PM, April 13, 2020 at Manor Court, Clinton, IL.

 

Mass of Christian Burial will be at a later date at St.. John’s Catholic Church, Clinton, IL with Rev. Fr. James Henning Celebrant. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with arrangements.

 

Memorials may be directed to St. John’s Catholic Church.

 

Donald was born November 5, 1921 in Rome NY the son of John and Rose (Teuscher) Jackson.  He married Mary A. Simmons October 22, 1949 in Rome NY.  She passed away October 22, 2007.

 

Survivors include his sons:  Richard (Deborah) Jackson, Culver City CA; Larry (Isabel) Jackson, Hillsborough, NC; David (Nancy) Jackson, Clinton, IL; and Francis (Kathy) Jackson, Clinton, IL, 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and sister, Carolyn Curley, Syracuse, NY

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, one granddaughter, and one sister

 

Donald was a WWII Army veteran.  He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church, Clinton, IL and the Knights of Columbus.  Donald retired after 50 years of service at Revere Copper & Brass.
