Mary Lou Mills 91 of Clinton, Illinois passed away 1:06 A.M. October 21, 2019 at Liberty Village, Clinton, Il.

 

Services will be 11 AM, Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, Il. with Ernie Harvey, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Mausoleum Park Cemetery, Clinton, Il. Visitation will be 10 – 11 AM, Saturday at the funeral home.

 

Memorials may be directed to the DeWitt Co. Fairgrounds Project c/o the DeWitt Co. Fair Board.

 

Mary Lou was born June 15, 1928 in rural Kenney, IL the daughter of Linn O. and Mabel (Isaac) Rau. She married Darrell Mills December 1, 1945 in Clinton, IL.

 

Survivors include her husband Darrell Mills, Clinton, Il.; Children, David (Paula) Mills, Clinton, Il.; Daniel (Sharon) Mills, Clinton, IL; 9 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren; and brother, Earl (Betty) Rau, rural Kenney, IL

 

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her Parents; 1 daughter, Debra Ackerman; 3 sisters:  Charlotte Holloway, Heyne Rau, and Mildred Clark; and 1 brother, John Rau.

 

Mary Lou was a member of the First Christian Church, Clinton, IL, the DeWitt Co. Home Extension, and the DeWitt Co. Farm Bureau Women’s Committee.
