Billie L. Bateson 65 of Farmer City, IL passed away 7:56 PM July 16, 2019 at his family residence, Farmer City, IL.

 

Services will be 2:30 P.M. Friday, July 19, 2019 at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, Il. with Pastor John Roberson officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, Il. Visitation will be 1:30 – 2:30 PM Friday, July 19, 2019 at the funeral home.

 

Memorials may be directed to Billie L. Bateson Memorial Fund.

 

Billie was born February 2, 1954 in Clinton, IL the son of John and Mildred (Vinson) Bateson. He married Patricia Westerfield, June 2, 1973 in Clinton, IL. She passed away March 27, 2015.

 

Survivors include his children, Billie (David) Cooper, Farmer City, IL; Betty Westerfield, Decatur, IL; Bobbie (Jason) Hill, Farmer City, IL; Randy Bateson, Clinton, IL; Bonnie (Todd) Hardin, Clinton, IL, 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, siblings, Sally Howard, Clinton, IL; Jack Bateson, Kenney, IL, Francis Bateson, Clinton, IL, John Allen Bateson, Clinton, IL; Maria Crause, Taylorville, IL Thomas Bateson, Argenta, IL; and Susie Pennington, Indianapolis, IN.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Rose Rothe.

 

Billie enjoyed fishing, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
