Jerry Lee Reynolds 83 of Clinton, IL passed away 11:20 PM May 28, 2019 at his family residence.

 

Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 3, 2019 at DeWitt Cemetery, DeWitt, IL with Chaplain Bob Goebel officiating. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with arrangements.

 

Memorials may be directed to Jerry Lee Reynolds Memorial Fund.

 

Jerry Lee was born November 4, 1935 in Farmer City, IL. He was raised by his grandparents, Robert T. and Anna Nancy (Welch) Reynolds. He married Twanda Rose Newberry July 1, 1957 in DeWitt, Illinois.

 

Survivors include his wife, Twanda Rose Reynolds, Clinton, IL, children, Gary (Jamie) Reynolds, Clinton, IL; Pamela A. (David) Terry, Clinton, IL; Charles Reynolds, Clinton, IL, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, siblings, Jean Pearson, Shipshewana, IN; Scott (Diane) Ramsey, FL; and Brenda (Eric) Lewis, FL.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, 1 sister, 2 sons, Jerry Wayne Reynolds and Scott Patrick Reynolds, grandson, David Terry, and 1 great-grandson, Zander Reynolds.

 

Jerry worked for the City of Clinton for 32 years. The last 15 of those years he was a superintendent of streets, retiring in 2002. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
