May M. Sparks, 82, of LeRoy died Saturday (May 18, 2019) in Normal.

 

She was born in 1936 in Clinton.

 

May spent many years of her life caring for others, at the hospital and providing in home health care. She spent her time traveling and loved to meet new people and places. She was a God-fearing woman, who loved the Lord.

 

She was preceded in death by both parents; one daughter, Loretta; and one son, Richard.

 

Surviving are two sons, nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

 

Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, preceded by visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., all at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington. Burial will follow in DeLand.
