Rose Ann Binkley, 65, of Warrensburg, IL passed away on Friday, May 3, 2019.

 

A service to honor and celebrate Rose Ann’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rose Ann will be laid to rest in Illini Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to AT&T Pioneer Shoe Program.

 

Rose Ann was born on April 15, 1954 in Warrensburg, IL, the daughter of Wayne and Martha Rose (Roberts) Binkley. She retired from AT&T in 2003 where she was a billing rep and also worked as a hostess at Warrensburg Restaurant. She was currently employed as a collection officer at Land of Lincoln Credit Union. She served on the Warrensburg-Latham School Board. Rose Ann was loving, caring, motivating, and always had that fire. She was a Binkley- selfless, family and community engaged, loved her basketball and watching her brother coach. She was the best of us and we’ll carry her fire with us forever.

 

Rose Ann is survived by her children: Terra (Tony) Robinson of Warrensburg, IL and Christopher (Christine) Edwards of Decatur, IL; brother: Victor (Marcy) Binkley of Warrensburg, IL; grandchildren: Haley (Shaquill) Freeman, Andreas Robinson, Ashlynn Robinson, Graeme Edwards and Oliver Edwards; great-grandchild: Parzival Freeman; nephews: Zachary Binkley, Trevor Binkley and Dillon (Casey) Binkley; great-nephew: Brady Binkley.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents.
