Esther F. Covey, 92, of Clinton, IL passed away at 3:03 PM, April 25, 2019 at Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal, IL.

 

Services will be 11AM, Monday, April 29, 2019 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Jim Kilson officiating.  Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL. Visitation will be 10 – 11 AM Monday at the funeral home.

 

Memorials may be directed to the Lane Christian Church; Hawthorne Inn, Clinton, IL; or Advocate BroMenn Foundation.

 

Esther was born June 6, 1926 in McLean, IL the daughter of John D. and Ella (Campbell) Johnson.  She married Lloyd Covey, Jr. April 18, 1948 in Clinton, IL.  He passed away July 1, 1992.

 

Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis (John) Neal, Farmer City, IL, 2 grandchildren, Jodi Talley, Minier, IL and Chad (Heather) Neal, Blue Springs, MO, 4 great-grandchildren, Dalton & Hannah Talley, Minier, IL and Marissa & Chase Neal, Blue Springs, MO.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 son, Mike Covey, 8 sisters, and 1 brother.
