Dorothy J. Thrasher, 77, of DeWitt, IL passed away 3:50 A.M. March 23, 2019 at McLean County Nursing Home, Normal, IL.

 

Services will be 11 AM Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Greg Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL. Visitation will be 10 – 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home.

 

Memorials may be directed to Dorothy J. Thrasher Memorial Fund.

 

Dorothy was born February 24, 1942 in Bloomington, IL the daughter of Harley and Pearl (Roy) Nowlin. She married Richard R. Thrasher February 3, 1962 in Paxton, IL. He passed away March 6, 2012.

 

Survivors include her daughter, Janice (Jim) Emmerson, Normal, IL, 3 grandchildren, Matthew (Nikki) Emmerson; Amanda Emmerson; Tyler Emmerson, 5 great-grandchildren, Brantley, Tayleigh, Zander, Charlotte, and Paisleigh, and 1 brother, Robert (Joann) Nowlin, Heyworth, IL.

 

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Ron and Donnie Nowlin, and 1 niece, Brenda Lauterberg.
