Susie Burton, 86, of DeLand, Illinois went to be with the Lord 3:03 A.M. March 13, 2019 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, Il.

 

Services will be 11 AM Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Church, Monticello, IL, with Pastor Josh Bledsoe officiating. Burial will follow at DeLand Cemetery, DeLand, Il. Visitation will be 10-11 AM at the church. Calvert Funeral Home, DeLand, is in charge of arrangements.

Susie was born March 26, 1932 in Elic, Kentucky the daughter of John E. and Loretta (Ashley) Kelley. She married Johnny B. Burton June 17, 1950 in Science Hill, Kentucky. He passed away February 28, 2017.

 

Survivors include her daughters, C. Lanette (Phil) Holdcroft Champaign, IL; Ruby A. (Leonard Riquelme) Hottinger, Indianapolis, IN; 3 Grandchildren; 5 Great-Grandchildren

 

She was preceded in death by her Parents, 4 sisters and one brother.

 

Susie retired from Osco Drug in Champaign, IL for several years. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Monticello, IL.
