Helen M. High, 87 of Clinton, Illinois passed away 5:25 PM, March 11, 2019 at the Warner Hospital & Health Services, Clinton, IL.

 

Private Services will be held at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with J. Kent Hickerson officiating. Burial will follow at Texas Township Cemetery, Clinton, IL. 

 

Memorials may be directed to DeWitt County Friendship Center.

 

Helen was born November 27, 1931 in Clinton, IL. She married Bill E. High, August 28, 1948 in Piggott, AR.

 

Survivors include her husband, Bill E. High, Clinton, IL; children, Kathy (Ben) McNees, Clinton, IL, and Melissa (Stephen) Crang, St. Louis, MO; 4 grandchildren, Meghan (Troy) Meyer, Isabella Crang,

Julianna Crang, and Luca Crang; along with 2 great-grandchildren. 

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

 

Helen was an artist who enjoyed painting. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
