Curtis L. Carter, 62, of Clinton, IL passed away at 8:40 PM, February 9, 2019 at the Warner Hospital and Health Services, Clinton, IL.

 

A gathering to celebrate Curtis’ life will be 3 – 6 PM Sunday, February 24, 2019 at the American Legion Hall, Clinton, IL. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with cremation rites.

 

Memorials may be directed to the Curtis L. Carter Memorial Fund c/o Jesse Carter.

 

Curtis was born December 17, 1956 in Clinton, IL the son of Goldie M. Isaac.

 

Survivors include his children: Jesse (Lacy) Carter, Clinton, IL and Josh (Dena) Carter, Fisher, IL; grandchildren: Aaron Carter, Kindell Carter, Kamden Carter, and Kambree Carter; siblings: Regina Fabris, Clinton, IL and Eric Isaac, Clinton, IL; and uncle, Delmar Bateson, Clinton, IL.

 

He was preceded in death by his mother.

 

Curtis enjoyed racing of all kinds.
