Orvil E. Schwartz, 70, of Wapella, IL passed away 11:26 PM January 28, 2019 at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL.

 

No services are planned at this time. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL assisted the family with cremation rites.

Orvil was born October 29, 1948 in Braggadocio, MO the son of George and Zora (McNabb) Schwartz, Sr. He married Maxine Craw April 30, 1982 in Ivesdale, IL.

 

Survivors include his wife, Maxine Schwartz, Wapella, IL; daughter, Lisa Jo (fiancé, Josh Benson) Phillips, Clinton, IL; 2 grandchildren: Madison Slaughter, Wapella, IL; and Hunter Eads, Clinton, IL; sister, Joanne Cruise, Clinton, IL; brother, Curtis Schwartz, Clinton, IL.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and 1 sister.

 

Orvil retired from R. R. Donnelley, formerly Wallace Computer Services, Clinton, IL.
