Paul "Frank” Franklin Rickord Jr., 74, of Lincoln passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at St. Clara’s Rehab and Senior Center, Lincoln, IL.

 

Frank was born on February 17, 1944 in Lincoln, IL. The son of Paul Franklin and Virginia (Dalzel) Rickord Sr. He married Linda Carol Hertzfeldt on June 7, 1964 in Lincoln, IL. She survives him in Lincoln, IL.

 

Frank is also survived by his son, Brian Lee Rickord; his daughter, Christine Rene (Bryce) Lahmann; his grandchildren, Zach Rickord, Hannah Niemann, Brett Niemann, and Aaron Niemann; and one great-granddaughter, Averlee Arleta Rickord.

 

Frank was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Norma Fleshman and Patricia Funk.

 

Frank worked at Ameren Cilco as a troubleshooter for many years. He was a past Elder at Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln, and a Trustee for Lincoln Rural Fire Dept. Frank was one of the founders of the Lincoln Youth Football Program where he served for 12-15 years.

 

Services for Frank will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln. Visitation will take place from 4:00-7: 00 pm on Monday, December 3, 2018 also at the church. Burial will follow the services at Zion Cemetery in Lincoln, IL.

 

Memorial donations may be made in Frank’s name to Zion Lutheran Church, Lincoln. Services have been entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln, IL.
