Kevin Vincent Dorgan, 65, of Lincoln passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018 in his home. Kevin was born on July 30, 1953 in Lincoln, IL the son of Vincent R. and Mary Katherine (Amberg) Dorgan.

Kevin is survived by his sister, Diane (Steve) Buse of Lincoln, sister-in-law, Mary Dorgan of Curran, IL; nieces & nephews, Theresa Markley, Jennifer Colburn, Christopher (Chelley) Buse, Katie (Nick) Davis, three great-nephews, and one great-niece.

Preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Terry Dorgan and Tim Dorgan.

Kevin worked for The Illinois Secretary of State Driver’s Services for 36 years, where he was twice employee of the month. Kevin loved sports, his work family, and shooting pool. And a special thank you to all his loving caregivers that became his family and allowed him to be in his own home.

Services for Kevin will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln with Deacon, Wendall Lowery to officiate. Visitation will take place from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2018 also at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at Holy Cross Cemetery in Lincoln. In lieu of flowers & plants memorial donations may be made in Kevin’s name to Meals on Wheels or Lincoln Rural Fire Department.
