Deborah Skelton, 67, passed away at 4:25 a.m. on November 9, 2018 at Heritage Health Ventures in Springfield, IL.

 

Deb was born on March 28, 1951 in Lincoln, IL; daughter of Bernard and Mary (Rankin) Hildebrandt.

 

She is survived by her children: Christian (Amandah) Skelton and Elizabeth Skelton; one brother: Wayne Hildebrandt; one sister-in-law: Bert Hildebrandt; three grandchildren: Braden, Danny, and Bethanie Skelton.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Barney “Butch” Hildebrandt.

 

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lincoln, IL. She loved spending time with her family and watching her favorite Chicago sports teams.

 

Deb chose to be cremated. A celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2018, at The First United Methodist Church in Lincoln with Rev. Brad Curtis officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2018, also at The First United Methodist Church in Lincoln, IL. Memorials may be made in Deb’s name to the family of Deborah Skelton. Burial at Hartsburg Union will be held at a later date.
