Timothy K. Holmes 51 of Argenta, Illinois formerly of Salem, Il. passed away 12:16 A.M. November 3, 2018 at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, Il.

 

Services will be 11 AM, Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Calvert Funeral Home, Argenta, IL with David R.. Kenney officiating.  Burial will follow at Friends Creek Cemetery, Argenta, IL with Military Honors.  Visitation will be 5 – 8 PM, Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at the funeral home

 

Memorials may be directed to the Argenta-Oreana Fire Department.

 

Timothy was born March 3, 1967 in Salem, IL the son of Ronald and Judy (Belden) Holmes. He married Connie Howe March 27, 2004 in Argenta, IL.

 

Survivors include his parents, Ronald and Judy Holmes, Newton, IL; wife, Connie Holmes, Argenta, IL; children:  Tara (Chris) Duncan, Mt. Zion, IL; Patrick (Ann) Holmes, New York; Justin (Alexandria) Stephens, North Carolina; Michael (Samantha) Stephens, Argenta, IL; Timothy G. Holmes, Argenta, IL; Tyler Holmes, Argenta, IL; and Kati Scott, Kentucky; 6 grandchildren:  Seth (Alanna) Duncan; Brody, Cameron, Tucker, Alexa, and Marina;  2 great-grandsons, Easton and Jenson; niece, Allison and nephew, Collin; sister, Amy (Brad) Harris, Newton, IL; many aunts and uncles; and many brothers and sisters-in-law.

 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

 

Timothy was a US Navy veteran.  He worked at Excelon Clinton Power Plant for 25 years.  Timothy was a member of I.B.E.W.  He was an avid videogamer.  He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
