Mildred I. "Millie" Cline

Mildred I. “Millie” Cline, 97, of Heyworth, Illinois, went to be with The Lord at 3:22 P.M. Monday, October 29, 2018, at her home in Heyworth, Illinois.

 

Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, November 2, 2018, at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Heyworth, Illinois, with Rev. Richard Gray officiating. Interment will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington, Illinois. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, November 1, 2018, at the funeral home.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to the United Church of Heyworth or the Heyworth Public Library.

 

Mrs. Cline was born August 1, 1921, in Grayson County, Kentucky, to Minor A. and Maude E. Harrell Butler. She married Leo T. Cline on June 11, 1950, in Piggott, Arkansas. He passed away November 11, 1989.

 

She is survived by her son, Douglas (Jamie) Cline of Heyworth, Illinois; daughters, Peg Cline of Heyworth, Illinois, Deb Coakley of Heyworth, Illinois, and Beth (Gary) Miller of Normal, Illinois; stepson, Ron (Judie) Cline of Heyworth, Illinois; stepdaughter, Jackie Lang of Seabrook, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren with one on the way; 1 great-great-grandson; and sister, Pat (Francis) Smith of Le Roy, Illinois.

 

Mrs. Cline was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, 1 sister, 1 granddaughter, and 1 son-in-law.

 

Millie was a member of the United Church of Heyworth. She was an avid reader and bowler and a life-long Chicago Cubs fan. She loved attending her grandchildren’s activities. 

 

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and sister. She will be missed by all.
