Karen Scott Hull, 61, of Farmer City, formerly of Bloomington, passed away at 4:05 p.m. Sunday (Oct. 21, 2018) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

 

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington. Her graveside service will be at noon Friday at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Downs. Pastor Ken Burgard will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to her daughter, Dana Scott, 8301 Portsmouth Drive, Darien, IL 60561.

 

Karen was born July 4, 1957, in Bloomington, the daughter of Robert J. and Billie F. Gainous Scott.

Surviving are her mother, Billie Scott, Bloomington; her three children, Dana (Craig) Scott, Darien; Michael (Tena) Hull, Heyworth; and Matthew ( Karoline) Hull, Farmer City; five grandchildren, Olivia, August, Lucas, Marlee and Mackenzie; two sisters, Kimberly Scott, Pontiac, and Sheryl Scott, Bloomington, IL.

 

Karen was preceded in death by her father; brother, Kevin Scott; and her infant twin sister, Sharon.

Karen worked as a dental assistant for over 25 years. She was an avid reader; she loved genealogy and family history. She was a loving daughter, Momma, Nana, sister and aunt to all her many nieces and nephews. She was loved by all. She will be missed by all who knew her.
