Phyllis Rae Norfleet, 77, of Le Roy, Illinois, passed away at 5:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at Le Roy Manor, Le Roy, Illinois.

 

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, October 5, 2018, at the Le Roy Christian Church, Le Roy, Illinois, with Jeff Mayfield officiating. Inurnment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Le Roy, Illinois. There will be no visitation.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Le Roy Christian Church or the Le Roy Emergency Ambulance Service.

 

Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Le Roy, Illinois, is assisting the family with arrangements.

 

Mrs. Norfleet was born May 19, 1941, in Le Roy, Illinois, to Floyd and Elsie Brantley Cline. She married Waldon G. Norfleet on February 14, 1960, in Le Roy, Illinois. He survives in Le Roy, Illinois.

 

She is also survived by her two daughters, Pam (Lenny) Glaub and Peggy (Jeff) Hart all of Le Roy; four grandchildren, Megan Monahan, Joshua (Mallory) Monahan, Ryan Douglas Hart, and Macie Whitehouse; one great-grandchild, Owen Waldon Monahan; four brothers; and two sisters.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Douglas Norfleet.

 

Phyllis was a member of the Le Roy Christian Church. She had been Judge Ronald Dozier’s secretary for 30 years.
