Nancy C. (Williamson) Prather 81 of Clinton, IL passed away 4:35 AM September 18, 2018 at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL. 

 

Services will be 1:30 PM Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the Clinton United Methodist Church with Rev. Randy Myers officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL. Visitation will be 5 – 8 PM Friday, September 21, 2018 at the church. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with arrangements.

 

Memorials may be directed to Clinton United Methodist Church, Illinois Foundation FFA, DeWitt County 4-H Foundation.

 

Nancy was born March 24, 1937 in Olney, IL the daughter of Thurl J. and Mabel Cleo (Wilson) Williamson. She married Donald R. Prather April 20, 1958 in Olney, IL.

 

Survivors include her husband, Donald R. Prather, Clinton, IL; children: Teresa (Jeff) Bivin, Cary, IL, Lisa Robbins, Decatur, IL, Bradley Prather, Clinton, IL; granddaughter, Kayla Bivin.

 

Nancy was preceded in death by her Parents.

 

Nancy was a teacher’s aide for the Clinton School District for several years. She was a member of the Clinton United Methodist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and playing handbells. She was also an avid seamstress.
