Clara Belle Lamb

Clara Belle Lamb, 91, of Farmer City, Illinois, passed away at 7:15 P.M., Friday, August 31, 2018, at Farmer City Rehabilitation and Health Care.
 
A private family graveside service will be at Goose Creek Township Cemetery, DeLand, Illinois, with Pastor Steve Anderson and Rev. C. Don Ferrill officiating. There will be no visitation. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Farmer City, Illinois, is in charge of arrangements.
 
Clara Belle was born November 29, 1926, in Galesville, Illinois, a daughter of Albert and Bertha VanGorder Larson. She married Wallace Junior Lamb on October 14, 1946, in Macon, Missouri. He passed away July 24, 2018.
 
She is survived by her children, Kenneth (Laura) Lamb of Morrisville, Vermont, Owen (Doris Ann) Lamb, of Mansfield, Illinois, Eugenia (Michael) Watson of Seymour, Illinois, and Donna (Edward) Krauss of Farmer City, Illinois; ten grandchildren; Nathan (Jen) Lamb; Tammis (Tyson) Kelley; Justin (Alisa) Lamb; Jeremy (Marissa) Lamb; Megan (Adam) McCloud; Emily Bailey; Hannah Watson; Sarah (Shannon) Montgomery; Tony (Christie) Krauss and Claire (Eric Feinburg) Krauss; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
 
Clara Belle had worked at PreFab in Farmer City and was owner and operator of Belle’s Bootery in Farmer City, Illinois.
 
 
Clara Belle was a member of the Farmer City United Methodist Church. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Garden Club, and Woodlawn Country Club all of Farmer City, Illinois.
 
She was an avid gardener and especially enjoyed raising flowers. Clara Belle also greatly enjoyed lapidary and fishing.
 
The family would like to thank the staff of Farmer City Rehabilitation and Health Care for the excellent care and friendship while Clara Belle was a resident.
