Neysa Danilson

Neysa M. Danilson, 47, of Bloomington, Illinois, passed away peacefully at her parents’ home in Le Roy, Illinois, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. 
 
Her visitation will be Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Le Roy, Illinois, beginning with the Rosary Service at 4:30 P.M., followed with visitation from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 23, 2018, at St. Mary’s Church of Downs, Illinois, with Father Dustin Schultz, Celebrant.

Neysa was born May 30, 1971, in Heidelberg, Germany, a daughter of John E. and Kathleen F. Black Danilson.
 
She is survived by her parents; two sisters, Cassandra (Brett) Bidus and Jackie (Brent) Trenkle; nieces, Skielyr, Shaelyn and Sophia Trenkle and Elena and Teagan Bidus.
 
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and her uncle, Joe.
 
Neysa attended her parents' church, St. Mary’s Church of Downs, Illinois. She was a member of S.O.A.R.; Best Buddies through Illinois State University; an active member of Advocate BroMenn Health and Fitness Center; and Partnerships for Health Pilot Project. She participated in the Special Olympics and lived independently, supported by the amazing staff at Marcfirst.
