Helen Marie Curl, 98, of Tallahassee, FL, formerly of Clinton, IL passed away at 10:38 AM, July 13, 2018 at her residence in Tallahassee, FL.

 

Services will be 1 PM Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with J. Kent Hickerson and Rev. C. Don Ferrill officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL. Visitation will be 12 Noon – 1 PM Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the funeral home.

 

Memorials may be directed to the Shriners or to Charity of Donors Choice.

 

Helen was born December 8, 1919 in Tunbridge Twp., Kenney, Illinois, the daughter of Daniel Levi and Elsie (Dillow) Delamere. She married Thomas J. Curl March 14, 1958 in Hernando, MS.

 

Survivors include her husband, Thomas J. Curl, Tallahassee, FL; grandsons: Gary (Robyn) Armstrong, Pooler, Georgia; Greg (Bobbie Jean) Armstrong, Tallahassee, FL; great-grandchildren: Dustin (Mavis) Armstrong and their children Amiaya and Savannah; Dillon Armstrong, Dallas Armstrong, Jacob Armstrong and Joshua (Holly) Armstrong; Son-in-Law, Jack (Bonnie) Armstrong, Tallahassee, FL.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 daughter, Rose Marie Armstrong and 1 Sister, Louise Rogers.

 

Helen was the DeWitt County Clerk from 1976 until 1982. She was a member of the Business & Professional Women’s Club.
