Janice Faye (Wise) Bentley, 77, of Springfield passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Heritage Health in Springfield. Janice was born on October 3, 1940 in Lincoln, IL; the daughter of the late Winifred and Edward Wise. She married the late Orville Bentley in May, 1966. 

 

She was preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn and brother, Michael.

 

Janice is survived by her brother, Larry (Polly) Wise, sister, Connie Wise, step-son, Robert (Linda) Bentley, sister-in-law, Linda Wise, grandsons, Darren (Rita), and Bob Bentley. As well as several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and cousins.

 

Janice owned and operated the Doll House Daycare for over 40 years. She was very involved with The Village of Grandview Board for many years.

 

A graveside service for Janice will be held at 2:00p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Elkhart Cemetery, Elkhart, IL. Memorial donations may be made in Janice’s name to Mini O'Beirne Crisis Nursery.

 

Services have been entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Mt. Pulaski, IL.
